1994 oil change... how to (need help asap)
Its needs 4.5 quarts of oil. The oil pan is located under the engine. You might want to purchase a Helms manual so you know what your doing or have someone experienced do it the first time and show you how to do it since you dont know where anything is.
Yea, I figured that's where the engine pan is at. But where's the actual filter at? For some reason I'm having a hard time finding it.
Its located behind the engine block under your car. If look under your car you should be able to find it. It looks simaler to this: http://www.acdelco.com/parts/f...s.htm
It is between the engine and passenger compartment. Under the intake and over the exhaust pipe. PLEASE!!!!! DO NOT GET UNDER THE CAR WITH ONLY A JACK SUPPORTING IT. USE JACKSTANDS OR RAMPS. You will need a small filter wrench, to remove the filter.
PS: And if you plan to work on the car yourself, get a service manual. At least one of the cheap ones from Autozone, Advance.

I changed the oil in my 95 about two months ago. I was only able to get the driver side on the one jack stand I had. I also turned the wheels about 3/4 to the right and then was finally able to see the filter. Lets just say if you had ramps or two jack stands it would be a lot easier.
Yea, that's what I was basically trying to do change the filter without lifting the car. Once I lifted it (on all four jackstands) all the rest fell in place.
Thanks
Thanks
