either get a xsi full swap

or i can get the block of a sir 2 and get a y1 tranny would the y1 tranny bolt right on

I would get the full swap. It's going to have a lot of small parts and pieces with it that you will end up having to buy anyways.

get the xsi motor the ys1 rocks its the best cable b series tranny and shares the same internals as their hydro brothers, thus making parts swaps easier and have more choices on gearing
