CHECK ENGINE LIGHT PART 2 HELP!!!
alright so last week i was driving home....check engine comes on, and the car pulls back for about a second, and the rpms shoot down, but right back up....i drive home, clean the battery connections because there was corosion on the positve end... the check engine comes off and the car feels fine...
today i was driving...the check engine came on...now the car wont go passed 4000 RPM, it will just start stuttering. anyone got any clue what this is about??? can it be the clutch slipping?? any info will help. thanks.

It could be anything but it doesn't sound like something that can be fixed in the driveway. I would go to a mechanic and see if they will tell you whats wrong with it. Most of the time they won't charge you but you might have to wait untill they can get around to it.

alright, the ground is connected to the same ground as the battery.... is there a different ground some where else? where should i relocate it? from where it hooks up from the tranny, or where it grounds from the battery?

theres a ground right behind the fuel rail. take it off and attach it to the valve cover

Okay so this wasnt the problem after all...i relocated the ground and today the check engine light came on again. again it wouldnt let me pass 4000 rpm...then i pulled to the side turned off the car and let it sit for a minute i turned it on, the check engine was still on but it would now let me go passed 4000rpm. i do notice a sight lag at 3 to 4000 rpm. kinda like a slip or missfire???? anyone got any ideas???? im stumped...im thinking of taking it to honda just to get a diagnostic.
when u reach 4k rpm does it feel the same as hitting the rev limiter?

Go to AUTOZONE !!!!!!
Borrow their OBD SCANNER and READ what's the problem , instead of guessing it!
Dont drive it until u know what's wrong with it!

what did he do to fix it?
what did he do to fix it?
i checked my intake to check out the sensor on it. it was a bit loose with the rubber ring missing...then i pulled it out and it completley sucked the ring into the intake manifold. would this be a major problem?? and the cause of all the rest of my problems?
you are seriously a ******* retard, no offense, you should really not even be on this webpage at all.
ok time to be nice:
FIRSTLY, if you ever have a CEL get it DIAGNOSED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, which you obviously have not done. GO TO AUTOZONE. in 5 minutes you can KNOW what the problem is and the dude will probably be knowledgable enough to suggest some fixes.
STOP driving your car around every the expletive where. its apparent that your CEL will come on every time and put the car into limp mode. STOP TRYING TO REV IT.
CHECK YOUR OIL LEVEL. the oil gauge comes on if the level or PRESSURE (because in some cases there is NO oil) is out of spec.
Also, what the hell are yo udoing messing with sensors while the car is running?? Do that **** when its off!!!! judging from the rest of your post you probably didnt have the hindsight to NOT drive the car, so that rubber grommet is probably chillin somewhere.. hopefulyl melted in your IM and not in your comb. chamber.
IF You were smart enough to turn off the motor and not run it, then take off the intake and look beofre the throttle body or in your Idle air control valve for the rubber piece.

first off... expletive you...who the expletive do you think you are to be calling anyone a ******* retard? the reason a website like this is made is to post topics and problems with cars, not to trash on eachother. do you just go on this to talk **** or to help??
I have to get to work you ******* retard, how the expletive else am i going to get there if i cant drive my car. sorry some of us have responsibilty and makes it hard to just stop what were doing when something goes wrong with our cars. accidents do happen and you dont have to be a dick and try to make someone feel worse about ****. either help with the problem..or shut the expletive up....
