Default hole in 92 accord tranny/engine

Hello everyone,

I need some advise on this hole in my tranny/engine? I've been driving with this
hole for a while now and there's nothing wrong with it. So should I get it check out or is it o.k. to just leave it. Any advise is appreciated.

Thank you

There is a rubber plug that goes in the hole. It's actually for your timing marks (you don't have any on the crank pulley) so someone has set or checked the timing at some point and forgot to put it back. I would get a replacement though.
