i currently run a jdm b16 SIR II with a jdm ITR ECU OBD2 in my 97 civic . will a stock sohc d16 from a 96-97 civic be the same wire harness ?

how hard would it be to swap back to a SOHC D16 ?

what parts can i use that im currently using right now ?

i was told a while back that they can use the same engine harness but im not sure.

same harness. but the iacv connector is different. its a 3wire if it had a dx engine. if your car is an ex. you should be allright.

 

yeah my car is an ex . i just need to get that b16 SIR II out of there and put the d16 just for smog passing purpose then its goin back to b16 .

how much would a d16 ecu run me for ?

 

I "high" price would be $100 for an OBD2 EX ecu.

 

will an ecu from a 00 ex civic work on the 97 d16 sohc vtec ?

so im better of just goin out and getting the p2p 96-98 ex ecu huh ?
