Motor code question... curious

My friend has an F22B DOHC. What car is this motor from. I thought F-series were only SOHC.

i thought so to., i do beluve it is a SOHC 2.2 liter 4th gen lude engine.

No no. I read the code on the block. I'll get a pic for you. It says F22B and it IS a DOHC non-VTEC.

i'm pretty sure that an DOHC F22 is a Accord Type R engine in Japan
