What tranny 4 a F22A2 motor?
I am doing some research on what, where, how regarding a change from an auto to manual, and I have a question since few posts can give me a definitive answer:
What would be the best tranny fit for a F22A2 engine?
I'm looking for as little work as possible (I know, bracket welding, parts etc) and the best possible OEM fit so I can get the job done properly / professionally.
Info greatly appreciated!

I see... Thank you! : )
Are there any differences between trannies for a 2.0L and a 2.2L motor? My guess would be a 'no', but then, I am only home grown mechanic...
Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for maximum performance, get one with the shortest gears possible. If you're just wanting a DD, get one with longer gears. Sorry that all I have to offer, not as informed on accords as others.
Thank you notoriousB!
Thank you cambopheonix56!
Better not experiment and let it blow up in my face, so I'll have a look around for a f series for 2.2L...
I'm really looking for mileage +5th rather than performance.
The reason I was asking is that the car was never offered in Poland and many are EUDM 2.0L imported from western Europe, so they be plenty to gut out after purchase... only that's too expencive and finding one in a junkyard would be almost a miracle.
