Default Engine mounts

I recently posted a topic on a flywheel and whether it was worth it to put one in while i was already down there doin the new clutch. I cannot remember but one of you H-T specialists advised me to get new engine mounts i believe because the new CM Stage 3 clutch and CM flywheel would eventually destroy the cheezy mounts on the car. What engine mounts would you recommend? I spoke to someone today who said that kevlar mounts would probably be the best and the strongest. what do you guys think? Thanks.

I just did the search and it was SOHCArchangel who advised me; he said:

"i have a stage III cm clutch and act lightened stock flywheel

beware, get a front mount insert and a rear solid mount or a stock rear from an lx/dx with a poly insert, as if you donth the first thring to break will be your front mount, axles and trannies shortly after that as the stock rear mount does nothing to prevent this but make it easier for it to happen"

Yes, get the HASport rear mount for the H22 (fits the F motor)...

I just put in the E/S poly front motor mount inserts tonight, and vibration has already gone up quite a bit. Engine response feels great though, so I'll accept that trade-off.
But I'm not sure if I'm going to put in the rear inserts once my rear Prelude motor mount arrives (I'm still using the Accord EX rear mount). That might just be too much vibration, for I really value a comfy car.

I've never heard of kevlar mounts. I got my E/S poly mounts from http://www.nipponpower.com.

I've gotten a lot of stuff from Nippon. They don't always have the best price, but they've given me great service, always have stuff in stock and ready-to-ship and I'll stick with 'em.

Where is the best place to get the HASport rear mount anyways? How much labor was involved Misa?

http://www.hasport.com i guess.
a floor jack, couple jack stands, some 17mm sockets, and some elbow grease. come on over and we'll have it in in a jiffy (or maybe 10 jiffies).

well the rear mount is secured by 13 mm bolts, so that will be needed a 15mm socket....

Is it hard to put these in after the motor has already has been swapped.

By the http://www.suspension.com has good prices on E/S products. I got my front endlinks from them.

i checked a bunch of places.. there are no listings for the 6th gen Accord aftermarket motor mounts.. i called energy suspension and they said their mounts do not fit the 98-02 Accord as far as they know and they do not plan to test it for a while... so where do i go from here now?

yo man, i believe that a lighter flywheel will be to your benefit, i remember reading that for every 10 lbs you lose in your engine's "non-reciprocating" parts that its like losing 150lbs from the body. not sure if this is true or not but it's something to look into
