hello all

im new and just wanted to give my respects to you all ive been into hondas since 86 and havent owned any other make of car my reason for finding this forum was for a ton of advice im in the midst of a new project i have a rolling 93 hatch that
i want to build for drag raceing never to see the street and id like to do it a little cheaper than most so i need motor recomandations how to lose weight besides just pulling interior i will need a ton of help suggestions and will photo document it all for everyone to check out so if you have room for another member id like to be that guy

Welcome to HT, and if your looking to lose weight but keep the interior, you could pull the power steering (if it has any) ac, get a traction bar (replaces x member and shave a couple lbs) lighter rims, etc... just make sure you always search before you post or else peaple will flame you hardcore. Good luck with your project and I hope to see some pics soon

Looking for an 88 to 93 shell on east coast,
virginia beach would be great.CHEAP!!!!

just wait until you're not a trial user and you can post in the Marketplace.

Go Lexan glass to help lose wieght aswell. Also dry ice the floor pans to get the sound deadening material off too

i didn't need any dry ice or anything, i just tapped that stuff with a hammer and it came up real nicely. lost about 25 - 30 lbs but my car is noisy as hell. also you can remove all that rubber padding from the firewall, it's another 20-30 lbs. the car won't hold heat as well and will be even louder.

I just remember seeing a thread, I think it was from that guy that did all the weight reduction DIY threads, but I remember seeing it on here with pics
