If you have a standard tranny I'm gonna assume you have a base model hatch.
Your gonna have to first convert your car from DPFI ( dual point fuel injection) to MPFI(multipoint fuel injection). The b18a (motor from 90-93 teg) is a mpfi engine.
Your gonna need b-series swap mounts, and b-series swap shift linkage. If your car has a standard tranny it must have the standard hubs which will have to be swapped out for dx or si hubs. The b-series axles that you have to use won't fit into the base model hubs.
Also, you need at least a civic si ecu. It would be best to just use the b18a ecu.
Also, some engine mounts require you to cut a notch into front crossmember. I had a ls/vtec combo in my 88 hatch and I used placeracing mounts and I needed the extra room for the header. Not all mounts require you to cut anything.
Last thing I can remember is that you have to dent the framerail a bit where your stock alternator is because the b-series alternator sticks out further.
Use the 90-93 teg axles.
Any q's?
