help installing trans. after clutch install.....

Default help installing trans. after clutch install.....

anyone have any tips on how i can be sure that the transmission input shaft is in the clutch disk before i go ahead and tighten down the 17mm's down. oh yea....i have a 97 civic cx

If there is a very minamal gap between the bell houseing then your good to go. And if you are able to get all the bolts in then your good to go.

what would minimal gap be? I am about a 1/2 inch. Should i be able to get it flush with the block? I get got done with a new clutch disk and presure plate and throw out bearing.

just grab the tranny and jiggle it around to see if it goes in some more. But like i said if you can get the bolts in and they are theading then your good to go. Just dont cross thread them
