odd sound from steering rack?
well i finished working on my car today i installed new inner/outer tierods a new rack/pinion bushing, upper/lower ball joints and a E.S. bushing kit well when i turn the wheel when the car isn't moving every time i make a full turn i hear a light clunk from the steering rack but there is no problems turning or ant thing of that sortany one know if this is normal all i could think is maybe the tierods haven't broken in yet?
and by the way every one needs a E.S. busing kit its the shiz ***

which rack and pinion bushing are you talking about?
did you adjust the pinion gearbox?
its not normal. you sure you installed everytihng properly? theres no clear answer other than misinstallation.

the white plastic bushing inside the rack is the bushing i'm talking about the odd thing is it didn't do it untill i put the rack back in the car when i went side to side with it outside of the car it was fine and i adjusted the the bolt on the back of the pinion tughtened it all the way and backed it off 1/2 turn
heres a update after a few days it got a lot better barely noticably than on tursday i put new tires on and it stoped all togeather but now the upper control arm is skweaking damn E.S. i love it but its getting annoying any ideas on that?
