Default auto to manual swap done - low redline? ecu??

i have a 91 civic ex and i just converted to 5 speed.
but i am still running the ps9 ecu.

my redline is like at 5-6k. it just like loses power like it was losing fuel.
should i go with a pm6? has anyone had this prob before?

please help, wanna drive my car - plus it is 10.5:1 comp

You can not use an automatic ECU. The car will run like ****.

You can't use an automatic ecu on a 5 speed period. You need a new ecu. Pm6 would do. But if you say you 10.5:1 compression you might want to chip it to suit whatever your setup is.

then what is the purpose of modifying an ecu if u can't/shouldn't use it??

what i am trying to ask is - if i modified my ps9 ecu would it basically be like a pm6 ecu? and should i do it/is it worth it? hope that clears it up..

PM6 manual ecu's are gonna be cheaper..easier for you rather then getting the auto ECU modded/chipped and crap..
