**** is so easy.
Wash the car really well and remove as much grime that you can see. I use bug and tar remover for the really grimy areas, I live around trees that love to sap (cry) everywhere including on my car.
Tear off a piece of the clay bar, I use about a 1/4 to 1/8 of the bar at a time by working it with my hands to flatten it out. Then use the supplied spray and keep the surface wet and just run it over your whole car.
You'll be able to feel the grime under your fingers. When the clay bar gets thin flip it over and use the opposite side.
But BEWARE All the crap you just took off of your car is now IN that bar. Don't rub that **** back into your paint. This is why I only use a little bit at a time as not to contaminate the whole bar.
Hope this helps
