95 Civic Broke Speedometer/fuel/temp turn signal and hazard meters
I bought a 95 honda civic with the speedometer broken. Took it to a non dealer to get a new senser installed for $130. The guy said it didn't fix it and didn't charge me anything he said the problem was in the dash and it would cost over $300 and didn't seem to think he could do it or didn't want too. So I tried. I tore it out and only broke part of the plastic dash. Missed around with it found out how it kind of worked and then reinstalled it. Nothing still. I went down a hill and the speedometer worked for like 5 seconds then stopped. I relized now my turn signals do not work neither do my hazardds. Fuel gauge and temp gauge no longer work either. I've taken it out and messed with it all several times now and nothing still. I checked all the fuzes they seem to be good and i bought a new flasher for 10 bucks and it didn't work either. For the turn signals when I turn them on I get nothing at all no lights on the dash or outside or ticker sounds. Please someone help me out. I really do not want to have to take it too a dealer because i'm sure it will cost a ton. If anything how can i get my turn signals back. I can't bring myself to do hand signals. Thanks.

Pick up a used cluster from any Civic (92-95) and you should be back in business. I would advise you NOT to go back to that place you took your car to.
