DID YOU GET YOUR CRX SWAP BAR'D WHAT MOTOR? My bro just got his 99 civic dx bar'd yesterday with 99 ls motor b18b1

 

it's a measley d16z6 in the car

only quirk that I thought might be a problem w/ them was that i used a wiring harness conversion ......I wrapped it in electrical tape and they didn't blink an eye to it

 

Wow you guys have some strict *** rules down there. I passed an e-test and safety with a blown cat, with a baffleless muffler throwing an O2 engine light code on an H22, with flying colors after the tune up haha.

 

SICK... how much did it cost of you dont mind me asking

 

the state ref is $30, then $8.25 for the smog certificate

$38.25 total

cheaper than going to a smog shop!

 

Im glad you passed your CRX, funny I just lost my Crx over that same issue, btw I also had a D16z6 Crx with the Greddy Turbo kit. No pass on that even if I converted it back t o stock since supposedly I won't pass visuals... I dont know if it had to do with roll cage or ww kit? Ride height... bah it had been for awhile so I forgot. But sold the Crx last week and now I am rolling on my GSR! I do miss the BOV though...

What setup did you have for the BAR if you don't mind me asking... I mean everything from visual to engine mods?

 

i paid 38.25 for my bar 99 civic bar'd including smog. Much cheaper.

I have a couple questions

First, where did you take it?

Also, I thought the fees were now $90 instead of $30. No?

Finally, did you have to provide any documentation to match your p28 to 95 Civic?

I'm wondering because I went to BAR my D16Z6, and it was a horrible experience. I got through smog anyways because the technician didn't care as long as it was still a sohc

 

the price is $30, not 90

setup is 100% stock..well..only change is a cat-back tanabe exhaust.

I took it to skyline college in san bruno off of 280

I didn't have to provide any documentation at all.
