Why recommend a larger tire?
Hello, I am looking for tires for 18's for an 06 RSX-S, so I thought I should post in here. On tirerack, they recommend I go with 225/40-18 tires, but according to this website that calculates speedometer calibration, the closest tire to stock should be 215/40-18. Anyone know why tirerack recommended a larger tire? Should I go with the 225's or the 215's, what are the advantages/disadvantages?
The speedo calibration website is
http://www.csgnetwork.com/speedocalibcalc.html
I was comparing the above two tire sizes to stock: 215/45-17
A reading at 80mph on the speedometer would actually be 80.5 on the 215/40-18 tires and 81.5 on the 225/40-18. I know it's only a difference of one mile per hour, but I figure there should be a reason the 225 tire was recommended over the 215 and just wanted to know what that reason is.
Help would be appreciated, thanks!

Oops, stupid me, yeah that answers my question then, because the 18's are 18x7.5 whereas stock is 17x7.
Thanks guys.
