How to replace the Battery of a 04 Shadow?
Take out the old battery. Replace with a new one.
Before putting in the new one, make sure it has been FULLY charged on a trickle charger.
Most likely your battery is under the seat.

I know take out the old one and put in the new one! Thanks for nothing on that one.
I did get a hold of the manual. That SOB is hard to get to. At least is hard to get to the neg turminal on the left side of the bike. I also had to remove the pipes to get to the battery and put it in. Think Honda hit thier had when they deisgned that part of the bike.
