just purchased a ruckus project. it is in great shape but the battery is not charging. the battery will take a charge from a battery charger but not from the scooters charging system . the battery if left just dies after a while and the scooter dies. after charging the battery with a charger it starts up and drives great . until the battery dies again. any ideas? anyone know if there is a free pdf workshop manual?

It may be time for a new battery. I'd also recommend an 11 pole stator & a compatible rectifier if you have a GY6 motor.

cant seem to find the rectifier. do you know where on the bike it is located?

Super late to the party here but from what I understand after reader the repair manual is that the regulator/ rectifier is integrated into the ECU.

Also, did you ever figure out the issue? My 2018 Ruckus isn't being charged while running either and I feel like i've gone through each testing method and am still nowhere on the issue.
