Default lot's of smoke

I got a **** ton of smoke comin' out exhaust. Very oily. I have a B16A. I have 220 compression all across, so I'm pretty sure it's not my rings. My buddies tell me probably my valve stem seals. What do you think?

You make no ******* sense.. What the expletive is that even supposed to mean? God damn it what the hell?

So.. Is the smoke a Black/bluish color? Is it white.. Is it just black? These are all things we need to know. You said it's "very oily" so I assume it's black/bluish, right?

When did this problem start? Did you swap a new engine into your car? Did you rebuild an existing engine? Did it randomly start doing it?

Is there oil build up on the exhaust? Is there a black sooty build up?

These are all detail that would be helpful in determining what the hell you are talking about and what the problem is. Communication FTW!

Since it is very oily it almost definitely is oil causing the smoke. Most people assume that good compression indicates good rings. But, you could have bad oil rings causing oil leakage into the cylinder. The oil in the cylinder would then help the compression rings seal better and yield good compression numbers. Not saying this is the case with you but it could be a possibility. It still could be oil leaking down the valve guides.

Yep, absolutely correct.

Does it happen under throttle the worst or decel/downshifting?

If the latter, it points towards valve stem seals because that is where the motor is producing the most vacuum and is drawing oil through the seals.

Need a better description from you though.

It's the worst when accelerating escpecially when accelerating full throttle. The motor is a B-16A. My exhaust is only a week old and there wet oily build up inside. I have to put in a quart of oil about once every week and a half.

seems to be like my car but more than a quart every 100 miles,
i redid valve stem seals and it still smoked and leaked and oil on the rear of the car and blah blah blah, so i checked my compression everything read the same thing, a member here said even when their all normal or something can indicate they are all bad (piston rings) well for me instead of replacing them to find out if thats the problem i just bought a JDM D15B instead and throwing out my D15B7..im a lazzy ***.

So replace your piston rings is my vote
