This is all in a HEAVY *** Full Interior 5th gen prelude
the car is making 400whp/310wtrq @ 10psi on pump gas.
Here is a quick run down of the set up...
H22 Block:
-89mm with Golden Eagle Sleeves
-89mm Rollerwave pistons 9.5:1
-Manley/Full Race Rods
-ARP Head Studs
Head:
-Stock
Turbo Setup:
-Precision PT61
-Equal Length Manifold
-3"DP
-Tial 44mm Wastegate
-Tial bov
Fuel and Ignition:
-Walbro 255 HP
-Neptune
-1000cc precision injectors
-M&W Pro 10
Drivetrain:
-Stock Tranny- for now
-ACT 6puck with extreme PP
-ACT streetlight flywheel
On the Way:
-Slicks
-Axles (once i figure out which I want to go with, heard bad things about gators)
I'm on a very tight budget and still saving up for the on the way items, but im sick of having this set up and only making highway runs and want to reach my goal i set out for myself and was the reason for building the car.
so i guess my question is my goal in close reach?

. What size slicks you plan on runnning? I'd recommend some 23's.
Killer Powerband btw. </TD></TR></TABLE>
thanks for the responce. thats the main reason i posted this in here, im lost when it comes to which size slicks to run, what axles to get, etc, etc! ive been caught up in this highway racing and its time to take it to the track

Do a search on Preloading and you should be able to stick w/ your OE axles(on slicks). The reason I say 23" slicks is that w/ the weight of your vehicle and that power level, you'll want to take any gearing advantage possible. I've seen 500+WHP cars run on 22's so you should be fine w/ the 23's even w/ that amount of torque. Good luck.

Call John @ M & H for some slicks. He has 23" and bigger for the 15" rim

Aggreed !! You only need big slicks when your trying to compensate for gearing. Being an H tranny you have PLENTY of gear so stick with a 23 or 22 inch slick on that car. Ive seen a close to 500whp prelude stock car run on 23's and it hooked really nice. I personally had 23's on my LS and it hooked nice as well cause of the longer gearing. Good luck

I think he might run out of gear with the 22's.
How high do you spin the motor John?

With a prelude tranny? Dont they do like 900mph in 3rd gear?
All joking aside depending on what he is reving to, with an LS tranny you can pull up to 136mph at 8k rpm in 4th gear and i know the prelude gears are longer so i dont see it being a problem on those 22's but i personally would stick with a 23 too. worked very well for my gearing and should work for yours to reach your goal.
Good luck let us know how you make out

reving a M2F4 (usdm h22 trans) to 8K would give you the following MPH in 4th:
23" tire 121 mph
22" tire 116 mph
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Is that the trans with the 4.4 final or the longer final?

You would def hit 12's on drag radials with that power(10psi). How much that thing weigh???
