Welder Repair Parts?
I got a Century 155GS and the pc board is messed up. I was wondering if there was any place online that I can order replacement parts for them. I could probably fix it myself, but one of the transistors that's messed up, s1055m, I can only find to order in quantities over 200.
Googling around a bit, a guy had a 60 amp charger he was repairing, same blown part model number, and replaced it with a "NTE-5539"
This can be found from this retailer for 11 bucks

The test from the repair guy on the subject is pretty small, but this is what he said
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Sears 60 amp, 12 volt / 10 amp, 6/12 volt / 2 amp, 12 volt Fully Automatic Starter/Charger Maintainer model 934.71614 Symptoms: The automatic charging functions didn't work. Solution Replaced the main power component S1055M with NTE-5539. The part is an SCR and was shorted across the K-G (cathode-gate) junction. A 110 ohm resistor leading to the gate pin of the SCR had gotten quite hot, discoloring itself and the circuit board. The resistor was fine however and was not replaced.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Awesome, thanks for the info! I had googled around specifically for that part, but I guess I didn't think about trying to find a different one that would work.
What about a place to buy the entire board? Say I replace all this and it still doesn't work? I don't think that will be the case but it would be nice for future reference.
