Default s2k MOTOR SEIZED unknown motor prob...

My 01' s2k motor seized at 48,151 miles what the hell?


HEY GUYZ MY ENGINE WENT OUT I DONT FEEL LIKE RETYPING THE WHOLE STORY SO JUST CLICK ON THE LINK THAT LEADS TO S2KINTERNATION.COM

IF YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTION LET ME KNOW THANKS... THOUGHT I'D INCLUDE A PIC OF ME AND MY CAR THATS THE ONLY ONE I GOT.......

I posted over there. Sounds like a dropped valve keeping your motor from turning. Have a mechanic pull the head and check for damage and cylinder scoring. Replace, rehone the bores, repair the head, replace the valves.

i finally got a chance to open up the motor. it' was the valve on the first piston that was broken it dammaged the piston scratch the walls a little.. some of the valve peaces jumped into the second third and fourth piston.....

how do valve pieces from one cylinder go into the other's without the actual cylinder's blowing up? i don't get what you mean by jumped?

i dont know how they ended up thier i will take pictures mabe tonight when i get off work i am getting ready to go to work right now..


what do y'all think i should buy oem parts or should i go with performace internals i am going to need pistons for sure because of the way thier dammaged.... and if i get pistons miness well get the rods rebuild the head or find another one thats good. port and polished it

what kind of rods pistons valve and springs should i look at?


where can i get more info to what would be best for my f20c if i want to go all motor......

first, you need to check if your rod bearing, crankshaft.
you'll need to replace sleeve or purchase new block.
your head is probably damaged.
depending on the damage of your head, you'll need to fix it or replace it.
if the chamer has a few small scratches, you could still use it by using sand blaster to even it out. make it a smooth.

yes, i too recommend oem part. cuz it fits perfect.
