Default expletive THIEVES!

soo i go out to my car this morning get in and notice my passenger door was unlocked and my car was bone-dry of my belongings. cd player, radar, a bunch of stuff.

i cant help but notice that it's incredibly easy to break into my car! (worst part is i have an appt. to get an alarm installed) but all the theif did was pry up my window and stick their hand in and unlock, then take all my stuff.

yes, i'm lucky they didnt steal my car, so i still have a smile on a my face. but is there anything that can be done to the windows to make this harder? also i'm looking into getting lo jack...

To bad lo jack doesnt keep them out though. Lo-jack came with my 99si not sure how much sorry. Id at least get an alarm that pages you when the car is being tamperd with. Dont use all the sirens and **** if your close-by wait for the silent alarm that just pages you, then go out see who it is and kill em.

Id only pickup lojack if i lived in a city with more than a handful of squad cars with the searching tools... meaning very FEW cities.

http://www.bikebone.com/GPS-tr...w.htm

GPS tracking unit. Smaller than a handgun. Can be mounted on the undercarrage of an SUV and still be trackable. Price packages for constant monitoring, or only when you need it (pay up front, then only again if you need to track it).

Once you have an alarm with power door locks. unhook your unlock/lock hinges which prevents them from unlocking your car even if they peel your window and stick their hand in their. also unhook your powerlock switch. and if you want you could unhook the key hole hinges as well, but leave like the trunk or something just in case your alarm don't work one day.

Sorry to hear, I had nearly the exact same thing happen to me on friday night. They took the radio, mp3 player, radar detector, shift ****, even my cheap *** pair of wal-mart sunglasses. But I still have the car and there was zero damage to it, at least they were professional about it.
