Quick boost...

What would be the cheapest route for a lil more power for a stock 95 civic lx? i was thinking about getting a vtec head for it, but just wanted to get some opinions...

Cheapest route? Take the air filter out, unbolt the exhaust, and advance the base ignition timing.
