Default should I go with or without side moldings on my 93 hatch??

I'm going to go buy the fenders, bumper, hood for my 93 dx hatch to start on the bodywork here soon and I can get the front fenders cheaper if I get ones without the molding holes...

not only that but I'm missing a few pieces of the molding anyway

I can easily fill in the molding holes on the doors and quarters but cant decide if I really want to or not?

should I just try to locate the missing molding pieces and go with the correct fenders for the few $$ it costs to get them?? Just trying to go as low buck as I can on this entire project is all

thats a tough decision... shaved does look great when its done right but I personally would keep the moldings if I had a 93 hatch.

but if your on a budget and it would be cheaper and easier to just go without moldings I say go for it

what color are u painting it?

its just going back to the stock color. honestly dont even know what color it is haha.

Its the lighter blue, I think captiva??

yeah, its tough for me too. I know it will cost me to get the molding fenders plus I'll have to buy the moldings/clips I need.

at the same time, it's cheaper to get the non-molding fenders but then I'll have to actually do all the filling work, lol.

its like, do I want to pay money and be quick to paint or do I want to be cheap and spend time sanding

If you go for no moldings leave the indentions. If you go for the moldings buy the thin kind and paint it.

yeah, I plan to leave the indents if I dont do moldings. I've seen pics in the past without the indents and the car just looks funny.

whats a good price on the thin moldings?? I cant find any on ebay...
