Speakers wont play, and HeadUnit Heates and smokes/burns panel
Hey guys whats up,
Well I have a few questions and a few problems,
First I have a JVC Headunit, Kenwood 3-way speakers, and a Noname sub+box W/Kensen amp (wich Bumps hard as hell BTW, its crazy)
I decided to goahead and do my stereo the correct way, I took everything out, pulled all the speaker and unused wire in the car, (old sub wire etc...)
I then put in new speaker wire, and Solderd all of my connections,
taped and zip tied so everything was lookin clean,
I also by accident the day before hooked up a power wire to the acc wire, the Unit heated up and I heard somthing pop inside of the unit.
Well After we hooked everything up we tried it out,
And only the sub plays, th speaker will not play and the headunit heats up very fast, and very hot (the heatsink)
I touched it and now have three blistered fingers...
So, Whats the problem, am I in for a new headunit?
Thanks in advance

Sounds like you are due for a new head unit since it heats up extremely quick and some of the outputs are burned out.
