ok i have a 91 accord auto ex. the coil went bad about 3 weeks ago so i replaced it with a used one. that worked for about a week and a half and then it went bad. i went to the dealer and got a brand new coil with a cap and rotor put it in and that last about 2 weeks. why is the car eating coils? i also ihave brake light issues, my driver side and third brake lights dont work dont know if that has anything to do with it. this is driving me nuts!

 

Have you ever replaced the ignitor? Also how do you have the coil mounted?

 

i have another ignitor that works, i tried that doesnt start still. coil is not external its in the distributor
