I'm doing this swap and I need to know what axles I'll need.
It comes prewired/pinned for OBD1, and so far I think all I need for that is a P28 and an obd1 dizzy for the y8.

Are you gonna use the y8 tranny in your 88? Let us know how that works out.
Also, you can use the obd2 y8 distributer with the obd1 p28. Rywire makes an adapter for the plugs.

The car is a shell basically, no drivetrain but all wired up for obd1.
So I'm looking at getting the y8 or y7, cable tranny, and 88 axles.
I don't know jack about civics, I drive an accord.
