What do Type R rods look like?
I'm about to buy a set of Type R rods from someone.
What are the visual differences between the R rods vs. the GSR Rods.?
Are the Type R rods beefier?
I also heard that there is a "R" stamped on the Type R rods. Is that true?
Also are the Type R rods heavier than the GSR rods?
Thanks for everyone's help. I just want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off-

The ITR rod fasteners have dimples on the ends to facilitate the use of a stretch gauge. GS-R rods do not.
Big end size labeling system is also different. GS-R rods use 1, 2, 3, 4, and ITR rods use 22, 23, 24, 25 (smallest to largest).
