h22 question? is a h22 a good swap??
well i was wondering if anyone knows alot about the h22 motor. why is the b series motor prfere over the h22. the h22 has more power and torque, so why wont people use it instead of b series motor. could anyone just give me what the know he h22. any help would be appreciated.
machine shops around my area won't put closed deck sleeves in h-series... not sure why though, maybe they start to walk?? i've heard many a clusterfuck stories about tryin to boost anything over 1 bar on them...
Depends on the car. If you put a H22 in something like a del sol, you can expect your suspension to be !@#ed. Just way too many things to modify in order to accomodate a beast of an engine like that in a small car.

thats not true. TylerH on this board ran 10.4's on a stock H longblock in his EK hatch. The only difference is the sleeve material is FRM and is not compatibale with forged pistons like some other blocks (B, D, F etc). The sleeves can be open or closed deck, talk to a real machine shop such as AEBS, GE, RS......

Beast of an engine? It's not a fugg'n V8 and only weighs another 40lbs more than the factory B powerplant.

yes, this is a very common swap. Check out the hybrid forum.

Probably the BIGGEST reason for this is the difficulty of the swap itself.
