(I know it's not a big problem but i hate cosmetic damage)
As the title said..
So i had to park in the front yard, not on the driveway since we had people over...
so my car was in an akward place, then my brother went and parked his POS erm.. i mean his car inside so i couldn't get out and he left (WITH HIS KEYS) so i couldn't move it, (now that i think of it i should've cut his brake lines haha)
anyway, i was pulling out and i accidently hit the side of the door.. thank god i didnt damage the door itself since my car's black and it would've looked awful, but i did bend in the little door protector thing..
anyway what i wanted to know is what is that called and where can i get a replacement?

Are you sure it's called door moldings because i keep getting the molding AROUND the door, and i hit the molding on the side of the door, the one that protects it from damage

 

There are places called junk yards. Also, black is the worst color and shows everything.

 

I've been to every junkyard in my city and they've only 5, 2 red, 1 silver, and 2 some bronz brownish color..

 

so i've been thinking of going to acuraoemparts.com, they have them there, but do you know if you can specify the color?

For a lot less money, you can get the molding off a junkyard car and then have it painted to match.

 

or you can shave it off for that clean look.

would cost $$ though. Just be patient. It will turn up in a junkyard sooner or later.

 

yeah, if you like the looks with the side moldings then i suggest you wait and come up on a good deal.

 

dont go to the junk yards in el paso, they suck dick and are a rip off. they get a big expletive-you from me.

look in the classifeds here for a deal on one, and then just repaint it. you can even repaint it yourself. dupicolor makes factory paint in a rattle can. as long as you prep it ok and do a decent job wetsanding it will look alright.

Dang Bro...we would just give it to u for free u just have to pay for ur own shippin...cuz me and my boyz took it of and have our side shaved i got a white and my friend got a black Teg...after we took it of we bein stupid and bend it up to throw it away...
