transmission questions
just a stock LS? auto/manual? just bring your car to a shop, its cheap and they get rid of the tranny fluid for you. as far as oil pref, if its stock, don't use anything special. if you get high perf, use redline, my favorite :-D
1. If you take you wheel off, you will see 2 plugs on the tranny. One at the top left, that is the fill plug. (fill until fluid comes out) Then there's one at the bottom, which is the drain plug.
2. Drain and fill would be nice if not too expensive. Why not?
3. None. Take your own fluid to a small shop, they'll do the job for like $15
4. Pennzoil Synchromesh. (yellow bottle) Sold at autozone and mayor auto parts stores.
