Default Clunk when Accelerating....diff, clutch?... edit: CLUTCH!

2000 Si.
When I go from a stop the tranny will clunk sometimes(not all the time) and sometimes when I press the clutch.

It does it garaunteed when idling along in whatever gear and i hit the gas.
Ive already broken a tooth on the diff in this car before but it didnt have these issues. The tooth just blew a hole through the tranny

Ive been running an Action 2md (6 puck unsprung) for 36k miles now. It is definately transmission related. What I dont know is what the problem specifically is.

From reading other threads it could be:

Fractured/broken PP plate(possibly)
broken clutch disc(I doubt it)
broken diff(its happend before with this clutch ...I dunno)
bad tranny mount.(I doubt it)

a few times it has had issues trying to put it into 1st or 2nd but not all the time.

Video of issue. Keep in mind this is definately tranny related. And you hear it when I hit the gas...and then when I let off.

you can hear it well in the second half of the clip.

this sucks

really? ill give em a look over.

I couldnt even get it in gear this morning... i had to fiddle with it for a few minutes before i could force it into reverse..then it started to work..still making the clunk noises when i hit the gas and/or when i let off.

was out picking some things up and it drove fine. Still made the noises from time to time though. One time istopped *turned car off * It was off for about 1/2 hour. I went to get back in and I couldnt get it into ANY gear . eventually after playing around with it , i was able to force it into a gear and off I went. It shifted perfectly fine after. This is really strange.

Have you bled your clutch recently? I just swapped in a new clutch master cylinder and the pedal didn't feal the same nor did it go into gear like it used to.

Well today, out of the blue, it returned to the normal clutch feel and shifts fine......I DUNNO

Its the clutch! lollers. i was bedding in my new pads and it was a bit wet out..so the tires locked up briefly but the shock it put on the drivetrain caused the clutch to break. well im not 100% sure its the clutch until i drop the tranny but its the most likely suspect out of the pressure plate, release bearing and clutch.

Same thing happened to me with being hard to put into gear and get out of gear....it turned out 2 of the springs on the pressure place had come loose and had lodged inbetween the plate and the disc.
