they save *tiny* bit of weight- ~1-2lbs per corner.
also if the bushings in your current lcas are worn you might get some benefit from new bushings

Other than adding a mounting point for a swaybar (if your stockers don't come with one), then there's not much in the physical design that can benefit performance.
However the bushings are a different story. You'll notice a difference between good and bad bushings, in that good bushings will last and do their job, while bad bushings will crack, deform, and fall apart in an unreasonably short period of time.
Upgrading to a stiffer material for the bushings will generally yield better handling as well.
