I am not aware of the name, I want to buy a chip reburner, i just bought a laptop.

ebay. thats about the only place anymore that i can find them. and http://www.moates.net has the burn 1 which is more user friendly than the ones on ebay.

searched e-prom, didnt find anything. And yes, seems like the onything I can find is the Moates burners.

it also depends on what chips you are talking about, some of them are not electronic eraseable....

IMO the Burn1 is the better burner out there, reliable and built to last. I have three burners, I only dig out one of the others when I absolutely have to...

its the standard chip, from ebay, I had a guy i know that has the burner, socket my ECU, although, his burner isnt working anymore......
so I said expletive it,ill buy one and hook it to my lappy and make reburn my won damn chip.

burn1 = http://www.moates.net/product_...id=48

A chip from Ebay tends to be a 27c256 (or similer) chip because they are cheaper but they require a UV light to erase them, you want a 29c256 or some other electronically eraseable chip to make working with it easier.
