Just how long do motor mounts take to install?

assuming u don't have trouble putting the firewall mount in.
I have gone to 2 shops and they both say 2-3 hours install time and comes out to about $125 usd to do it.

i have trouble believing that since most ppl do the sides in like 25 mins.

I can justify paying 125$ us for 25 dollar parts.

 

Sides can be done in 25mins with the right tools, assuming you dont run into any problems(ie stripped bolts, snapped bolts, etc.) The rear mount is harder to get to and can take up to a couple of hours of cuts, bruises, sweat and swearing.

Thanks. that's what I thought. No way ppl who work on cars with lifts and jacks and tools would take 2 -3 hours.

 

I took me about 2 hours alown to do the rear mount. That includes time for , kicking the car, jumping on the motor, lots of cursing, calling the power of gray skull, and then simply removing the lower tie bar and sliding the mount in
