B18A1, My dizzy is screwed, and im low on cash, however, I have 3 D serise Dizzies sitting around, anyone herd or actually taken the guts out of the D serise Dizzy and put them into the B serise Dizzy?

Im geting a code for TDC, which is one of the sensors in the Dizzy.
Also see wanted to buy, I need a new dizzy if I cant swap out internals from sohc to doch

Well, I did actually, I took everything out, the whole shaft all sensors,
they all looks the same, bolted the same.
Although when we put it in, we got no codes, but it didnt work, it sounded like the starter was firing backwards.

make sure the sensor on the shaft is not touching the magnet. and put some electrical grease on the connections

ok guys, mods may need to stickie this, here is the solution and what i figured out...

I have a B serise, I used the B serise Dizzy housing AND have to use the SHAFT as well, only thing swapable was the electronics in the dizzy. I used the SOHC d series ELECTRONICS, CANNOT USE its shaft, have to use the same shaft that is in the Dizzy from factory.
