Default How to Recalibrate gauges??

My boys got a prelude and he stopped buy to ask why car wasnt redlining anymore. I drove it and could tell cat was redlining but gauge was obviously wrong. I noticed that he put the white gauge cover on his stock gauges. I asked him if he pulled the needle and he said yes. I know thats bad. My question is how do I recalibrate the stock gauge to make it perform correct again...

You could connect an external tachometer and adjust your tachometer needle position to match. For the speedometer, get a GPS and adjust the needle position.

function generator or a waveform generator will produce the signal needed to move the gauge to the point you want.
some math and searching through the Helm manual will tell you what frequency, voltage and offset is needed.

to do it a little ghetto-ish, pull of the clear face and reinstall everything.
use an external tach and GPS like mentioned above.
Also fill the tank and make sure the fuel gauge isn't off.
same applies to the temp needle. Drive around for 10-15 minutes, you should be in the middle.
