I know ive asked before and i know theres an answer out there...that i jst dont wanna search for.

But...

can someone break down the process that i need to do to get HID's. Where should i go to get them and what all do i need to get, and how much should it run, and whats a good HID brighttness...and all that other good stuff i should know..

If you dont want to retrofit, then buy a 4300k kit that fits 9006.

i second that.

also make sure if you decide to buy the kit that the hid bulb is made for reflector housing. how to tell is the bulb will have a thin paper strip on the bulb. should cost about 250-350 for kit. retrofitting an HID is A LOT better but will cost more and is more complicated. you have to first do your homework and research about them before trying.

 

I saw a TSX that hit a deer which caused the HID to Burst and engulf the right fender to be covered in flames.

Kinda funny if you ask me, but I don't know if anyone did. I'll see if i can get a picture.

 

You should feel what it's like to have a 400w HID blow up in your hand. Just glad my arm isn't as naturally as combustible as deer fur... or oil based paint.

But yes. 4300k retrofit. Phillips ballasts if possible. Worth every penny.

can i just go to the dealer and say either.."retrofit my car with TSX HID's" or..."i just want HID's, non retrofitted"..and will they do it for me.

LMAO.....um NO

this little organization called DOT would wipe that dealership off the map - lol....unless you bought DOT approved HID headlamp units (TYC has 'em for some models) they might install them

We can barely get dealers to fix or just replace parts...

you want custom fabbing!! lol
