Friend of mine just purchased the CF Type R style wing but did not recieve a mount kit... how would he go about mounting it on.. is there a different mounting wing or do you hack at the stock one? let me know thanks

 

what do you mean "hack" at the stock one? I dont think you should be hacking anything

 

well i mean i seen a picture of the R wing mounted but it doesnt look like the stock wing.. when you hold up the CF wing to his stock one it it angles down, not like it should... what is there

 

for everyoe having this wing on their hatch why doesnt anyone know

 

out of all these jdm nuts with EK's no one knows?

 

It should bolt up just like the oem wing.I think its 2 bolts that hold it on.

 

i think what you are saying is you have the CF spoiler BUT NOT the base section that the spoiler attaches too

lol check ebay... or call whoever you got it from & tell you want the base too because you can't install it without the base

any type R style spoiler should be a 2 piece kit

return to whom he bought it..tell him you can't do **** without the base...& NO a dx/cx stock hatch spoiler will NOT work

I have seen people selling just the wing & I have been like WTF good is that

I know of NO PLACE that sells them separate but you can try asking jdmshit or whatever places make their own if they can hook you up

take the stock wing off and bolt up the cf one. i have the same one put three bolts on it unless you want it to fly off. and dont hate u cant put a wing on the car.
