Default rough startup

like it says once the car has been sitting a while or in the morning it takes a few seconds for the car to startup and when it finally does you have to give it gas...it sounds like it will bog out or something...when the swap was done (b16a1) it had a valve adjustment and the timing belt was replaced..im really stumped because i dont know what is wrong..maybe the the valves are to tight..i dont know please help me

My SOHC ZC does the same!

When it's been sitting overnight or for a long time, it takes a while for it to start. Once it does, everytime I give it gas it feels like it will bog but then it revs up eventually. I have to give it gas like 3-4 time before it will stop doing it. I guess it need to warm up?

BUMP 4 SAME PROB!!!

Actually I have pretty much the same problem, it doesn't take a while to start up, but it does have that bogging thing when you first start it. I have to gas it a couple times to get it running, then it runs perfectly. Anyone know the problem?

Hmmm did you do this swap yourself? Where are you from if you don't mind me asking. My crx I had while I was in college started to do this right before I sold it and im trying to relocate it since the *** pirate I sold it to sold it again after like 2 months.

Anyway to help you, pull your plug wires out and make sure there is no oil down there. Also check your fuel pressure and ignition timing.

my rex is bogging out from time to time. honda distrbutors suck(unless you break bread on an oem dizzy thats 230$) iv gone thru one ign. dist. an icm AND a coil all which were tested properly repaired or replaced ,and STILL bogs on occasion. now she runs great the next thing to do is to replace the fuel filter and service the injectors 2 see if it helps the stallingthat occurs from time to time.remember behind the nuts and bolts is a machine that NEEDS regular check ups.

and about your broken bolt i would say to repost your problem (with pics)and sombody should be able tohelp you.
