new clutch.. HELP!
well, my tranny was acting up kinda werid and it was hard to shift into gears. At first it felt like my tranny was low on fluids, but I checked it and it was full. Few days later it was still kinda hard and it was hard NOT to start off smoothly (always studdered like the first time you learn to drive a 5-spd). So I decided, if something is going to break, it needs to happen soon, so.. I floored it and shifted fairly hard then and it didnt go so I forced it harder and it kicked into second. Then I let of out it and it wouldn't let me get back into any gears unless the car was off. The auto parts store said it could be air in the hydrolic system and it needed to be bled. I bled it about 4 times and still had the same problem. So i figured I would replace the clutch and flywheel. Just got done and it STILL wont go into gears with the car on. It will go into gears with the car off, but not with it on. I can see the lever infront of the tranny that the slave cylinder is pushing on and it is pushing it to the point that it is almost hitting the case, so I doubt it has anythign to do with the hydrolic system... PLEASE! someone shed some light my way!
where does the clutch pedal engage when your rolling out of first gear? close to the floor?
might need to adjust your pedal. might not be disengaging all the way when u push the clutch to the floor.
