I own a 92 Integra b18a. Two days ago I starter ( does not crack) having problems starting the car. I turn the key and only hear the fuel pump working. But the started dose not works and the car won’t crank. I checked the battery with a tester.

1. Checked all the ground points
2. Checked the relay and fuses
3. Checked the clutch switch and depressed the clutch
4. Hit the started with a hammer
5. Checked the tyranny ground
6. Disconnected the battery to reset ECU
7. The car does not have any security features that would prevent the car from starting.

the first time I disconnected the ecu the car fired up after 10 min. So far I have not been able to start the car up.

Do any of you Honda guru's out there have any tips.

Each time I turn the key all i hear is shhhhhhhhh which i think is the fuel pupm working and nothing else happens.

 

You could just have a starter that could be going bad. One time mine didn't work then after trying it a bunch then it worked, then it didn't work. So I went and got a new one.
