gsr swap
I recently purchased a 94 gsr to put into my 90 si. At first I switched out the hydro tranny to a cable (a lot easier). But now I want to put the hydro back in. I already have the mount kit from innovative mounts and I have figured out how it works. My next problem is getting the speedometer to work because the cable tranny reads the speed differently. Is this an easy fix? Does anyone out there know how to wire in the hydro tranny speedo? As far as I know Vtec will not work without the speedometer working for OBD1. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Yes, this works great. I did this myself when I swapped in my OBD1 GSR with ITR tranny. The D series unit bolts perfectly onto the B series transmission.

thank you guys...this helps out a lot...is it easy switching the speedo? I have never messed with trannys before. Do I need to crack the case open, or will it come out without cracking it open?
Thanks again for the help!!!!

You just remove the bolt(s) holding it down and then pull it straight up. Kinda tight fit to do this if the engine/tranny is in the car.
