anywhere between 45 to 65 when i left off the gas the car pops out of 5th. i changed shifters, a little better but still pops out. could i have the wrong linkage?

jacked fifth gear syncro

 

tranny fluid might be low also

 

ive had the same problem in the past but i just put on a diferent tranny. crack open the trans and see if anything is shot (syncros or the whole gear). and se if its worth fixing or just picking up a diferent tranny.

 

bad detents and interlock, which is what holds the shifter in gear
