Default 2000 accord V6 timing belt replacement

There may already be a post on this but I couldn't find it.I'm replacing the timing belt on a 2000 accord ex V6.I have the factory manual and it says I need a tool to hold the crankshaft pulley to remove it.Do I have to buy this tool or is it something you can rent(some parts stores have tool loaner programs) or is there a substitute tool that can be used to hold the pulley in order to remove it? Any info is apprieciated. Thanks

I changed my timing belt on my 98 accord 3.0 and I would not recomend using anything other than the required tool. I know for a fact that autozone dosen't carry it, but i've seen them on the internet for around $40.00. I fabricated my own tool but I had to work twice as hard than if I would have had the right tool. Also don't be surprised if that crank bolt is super tight, I had to use a 4 foot cheater pipe to loosen the bolt.

I'll leave it to the local dealer or shop... IT is a PITA.

I changed 2000 Accord sedan timing belt, if you need help, feel free to ask
here is the tool you are looking for.

you can order it from here if you want
http://www.canadiantire.ca/***...=true

make sure you have this tool, and other stuff, be sure you understand everything,
if don't know don't do it
please come here and ask question

What I am saying is if you can not find tools then you not going to do the timing belt, its something else man, sometime pros can have hard time with it.
