my check engine lights been on and found out my Air intake temperature sensor was fried so i replaced it and the check engine light turnd off. but every 30 mins the light goes bac on then i tried takin out the sensor and puttin it bac in, then the light goes off but then goes on 30 mins later again etc. what could be wrong?? is it my PCV valve?

where can i get a code check for free? i tried readin the code but im not good at it. hehe cant tell if its 1 long *** code or a bunch of small ones

 

Try Autozone or AAMCO.

Usually there will be a long pause between codes, if you do have multiple coes. But try it out anyways, it helps to have a pen and paper while you pull the codes.

try resetting your ECU, might just help clear the dang thing.

 

u think thats the problem? if i juss reset my ECU? damn.. i HOPE so cuhz im broke i heard when the CEL doesnt show up till later it means its somethin minor. but ill try that reset'in ECU thing first

yeah i had ghetto wired dizzy and all kinda stuff when i first had my swap finished, fixed all the stuff and still got random CEL's like VTEC although i know i rewired it right... reset the ECU and now it doesn't post anything anymore. happy good times.
