Default Overheating with new rad

I replaced my stock CRX rad with a Fluidyne 1/2 size rad and a 10" slim fan and am having problems with keeping engine temps down. The car is turbocharged so hot engine temps are to be expected but this is crazy! I have my fan wired to be on constantly, installed a colder Jackson racing thermostat, bled the coolant and still thecar is running hot. The rad overflow is completley full which leads me to belive the rad cap may be to blame. The rad cap is rated at 16 lbs for what it's worth. Should I try using the old crx rad cap or iam I better off with the fluidyne cap. Any help or pointers are greatly appreaciated.

When I get into boost for a while it tends to get hot. I have to have my heater on constantly to bring temps down.

it wasnt doing it before? were you booting on the old radiator? sounds like head lift to me or bad head gasket. you got stock head bolts or arp? the over flow fill up but never goes down right.

I was boosting with the old rad and had the same problems. This is the reason for the new rad set up. The head bolts are stock and the over flow is higher than usuall and tends to stay above the maximum mark. I wwas thinking it could be head lft or even a leaky headgasket.
