90 Integra LS suffers from hard starting.
Like the title sais, it starts hard in the morning. I have to hold the key in the start position for atleast a good 4 mississippi seconds.. (lol) then it starts abrubptly then calms down to warming idle wich is around 1200 or so. So, i went to the consumer guide and it sais these cars suffer from faulty Fuel pressure regulators..is this true? and if so should i just replace it with OEM parts or get myself a good aftermarket one with an autometer guage? i was also considering a new fuel pump because my car has about 201,xxx miles on it and i bet its never been changed. So what do you guys think? could it be another issure or what? anything is greatly apreciated. thanks.
If I were you I would just start with the basics first. Change the plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and the fuel filter. After all of that see where you stand and go from there. The worst thing that will happen is you still have the problem but you got a tune up done. Best thing that could happen, you got a tune up done and the problem is gone.
